The fate of faith

You are full of faith.
You were it on your sleeve like a badge.
You’re faith makes you blind to the facts.
No matter how many times you ignore the facts;
It doesn’t change the facts.

The fundamentalists are trying to destroy America.
They say that their God is all powerful.
They say they speak for Him.
How can they know that?
They’ll tell us it’s a matter of faith.
Without their faith we can not judge, they say.
They say: ‘you stand accused of an abuse of faith’.
They’ll hate until they take away our right to choose:
To choose to live, to choose to die.
They’ll kill us at work and on our way home.
They teach hate to children, it propagates their faith.

Faith be damned, for that is now its fate.
Faith be yours and show us all your hate.
Faith lives for fear.
Faith lives for ignorance.
Faith kills.
Just ask Osama.

This is powerful–fundamentalism is fundamentally flawed to be sure. Faith based hate. Seems like Bush (the fundamentalist proxy) and Osama are two sides of the same nauseating attempt to call death peace….
