Dipped my toe in the water

It just goes to show how interconnected this thing called the internet makes us. Sherry and I just got off a boat where we spent the day cruising around the Gulfo Dulce. I spent part of the day holding spider monkeys at a wildlife rescue place on a small converted resort along the edge of primary rainforest. I am still about to cry. Then back to Puerto Jimenez to eat some local grub at a little cantina with a couple from LA who make luxury dogbeds. And across the street – what do you know but an internet café. No fears – I wont be checking email and I wont be here all day. In fact probably not even coming to town unless I want to go by boat to see the monkeys again, but I had to send a few pulses of good old fashioned online energy. I have dipped my toes into the water of the offline, and boy oh boy is the water fine. All my love my lovelies.

What an internet junkie! Just couldn’t stay away. I hope you enjoy the rest of your vacation and don’t read this until your return.

It sounds incredible, Andrei, but I agree… back away from the computer and enjoy the unplugged world. Technology will consume your life very soon. Play with the monkeys while you still can!!
